One can spend hours and days and years finding answers to crucial questions in life. I get telephone calls all the time from political people who seem to know about all the solutions we need. The problem is they all seem to have different viewpoints. Just give me a good concordance and the time is negligible. Why? God has all the answers to life's biggest questions as well as the littlest ones.

II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The word study is the Greek word 'spoudazo' means to hasten, make haste to exert one's self, endeavour, give diligence.
God wants us to have answers as soon as we need them. I used to think it was just too tough to find the truth. Someone taught me that God gives answers freely.

James 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

And that it does not take forever-

14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

We need answers daily, so we ask.

Philippians 4:6-7 
6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
